Fernwood Cove – 7/11Posted by on July 12, 2016

Monday’s Blog was written by 5th Grade Bunk Mom and Yearbook/Slideshow Counselor, Maeve.

This morning began fresh and bright with some beautiful sunshine clearing away the last few cloudy days and to make the morning even better we were served an amazing breakfast keeping in theme with Mexican Monday!!

As it is nearing the end of camp my role is becoming rapidly demanding as it is my duty to create the yearbook and the slideshow. The yearbook is created for each camper to bring home in the hope that some of the heartwarming messages and photographs inside encapsulate and illustrate the fantastic atmosphere we have just experienced here in the Cove.

After our Mexican Monday dinner we had mini courses for evening program. I was participating in baked apples by the campfire, needless to say they were delicious! Everybody really enjoyed the activity and getting the opportunity to cook outdoors was a great novelty too.

It really is hard to believe that we are in our final week and camp will be coming to a close soon. The past few weeks have gone much too fast for my liking, so I feel it is really important to make this week exceptional!
