Fernwood Cove – 7/2Posted by on July 03, 2016

Saturday’s Blog was written by 4th Grade Buncle and Mountain Biking Instructor, Conor.

After the incredible scenes of the Wanger Banger last night, the whole of Fernwood Cove yet again woke up to clear blue skies.

Today was another day jam packed full of activities and the beginning of the second week of focuses. One of my focuses was teaching a 2nd grade girl how to ride a bike. It was amazing to see her confidence grow throughout the focus and was an extremely rewarding part of my day.

It was a stunning night for dinner outside overlooking our beautiful waterfront. Dinner tonight included a Fernwood Cove favourite…Fluff sandwiches! From dinner we moved straight into tonight’s evening program…Campfire! This is a great EP as it is always full of traditions but always allows opportunities for campers and counselors to share new campfire songs. Liz Arthur and the 8th grade campers brought a new song to the campfire tonight about Fernwood Coves Mascot, Moxie Moose….. which was enjoyed by all!
